The Bees Are Buzzing!

 Afraid they wouldn't make it over the winter, we were happy to find a hive full of buzzing bees.

Marigold's Second Day

Blue brought the children back to the hospital to see sweet Marigold, then she and Mimi took them shopping. Sophie picked out a little duck blanket for the baby. She already knows Marigold loves ducks!

March 7, A Special Day

Our family was blessed with this sweet little baby,

Sophie's Pet Birthday Party

Sophie wanted to celebrate her 6th birthday with a pet party. 

 She was very specific. She requested a spot puppy and poodle cake and Annie and I gave our best effort.

Ha ha! She loved them! Too bad my cousin Kate wasn't here.

 For Christmas I put together a veterinarian kit for her using this PDF file I found on Pinterest. The children brought their favorite stuffed animals and played veterinarian and

 had a pet show.

Sherman was very serious about signing up his dog Buddy, our only live contestant.

We had lunch and sang Happy Birthday. She was so happy!

We moved the picnic inside because of the unusually cold weather.

Of course, she loved opening gifts.

Before our guests left, they got to adopt a pet from the Adoption Clinic in the pet shop.

 We had such a fun day with our family and friends,

and next year there will be at least two more. ;)

 

After the party, I caught a glimpse of the overall pet show winner, Buddy  proudly wearing all three of his awards. I couldn't help but give him the left over cake.
